I have a buddy offering me this Table, well its my buddies, buddy...lol. I can pick it up for free but my Question is, is it worth it to put new felt and rails on it and make a player out of it? his wife wants it gone asap.

It's a 7' table don't know if it coin op or not he never said, but I will be finding out a little later.

If you do not have a table now, it is worth something. I would leave it alone and play on it as is.

I do not know what it is or if it would be worth you picking it up, but if it is slate, and the slate is good, if you do not want it let me know. I live in Missouri as well and will travel to pick up.
If you are going to replace the felt, bumpers, etc. I know an excellent table mechanic and he is reasonable with his prices.

Yeah if you don't have your own table, get it. I like the looks of that table, bringing back memories of crowded smoky bars with quarters lined up waiting to take my turn.

I remember getting my first cue, I thought that was great from a consistency point of view for my game. i just recently finally got my own table, and multiply your own cue by a 100 getting to play on a consistent table, figuring out the best break point, etc.

Also you will get to buy more pool stuff when you own a table :)

Looks like a pretty sturdy bar table, whatever brand it may be.

Although now I wouldn't want a 7 footer, when I had one it was a lot of fun at parties and family gatherings.
