Do you like playing on a Bar Box, 4 x 8, 4.5 x 9, 5 x 10, or 6 x 12 Snooker Table? Why is your personal choice your choice?

I play a lot on a Barbox. So i quess it would be a barbox.

Ditto. My bad wrist messes up my game, too, so it costs me a lot less to play on barbox, because my game is a lot slower than the hourly cost.

I don't actually play pool. I just sit around the house posting on pool forums all day:D

9 footer. Anytime I get on a smaller table it seems like I'll never miss because the pockets are right there in front of me. Bar boxes especially. Nah, I prefer the large tables.

my girlfriend got me one of those really small office pool tables with the little spring loaded cues and the tiny little balls, but even on there i suck lol.

While I prefer to play on a 9 ft table, now that the local poolhall has closed down, all we have to play on locally are 8 ft barboxes....it was with that in mind that we purchased an 8 ft table for home.

Bar box tables are fantastic to play on specially banks, but for tournament concerens its better to play and practice on 9' tables.

Oversize 8. Its what i started playing on. Ive got a 9 at home but thats for practice and helping me develop a stroke. Good thing is, once i go from the 9 to the oversize 8 at the pool hall, I cant miss.

I really should stay home more

I'm going to have to go with an 8 on this one. Shortens up the max length of a shot while not making the table too terribly small to have too much traffic. They're a lot more fun to play on, I think.

I've got an 8-footer in my home, and that works just fine for me- I'll move up to a 9-footer someday, though.;)

IMHO, it's a waste of time to practice very much on anything other than a tight 9 footer with Simonis cloth. Of course if you're going to play mostly on a Bar Box then you need to spend time on that size. I've always thought that 8 footers were neither fish nor fowl, so I avoid them altogether...Tom
