If this has already been discussed please give me a link to read.

Would like to know what Tip the top pros use. If it is Soft, Med or Hard.

Mainly would like to see how many use the same tip etc. or don't.

I happen to know "useful" pool players that use differnt tip (harness levels) depending on the game being played. So, in straight 8-ball he might use a medium-hard, and for an 8-ball derivative like 1-15 (where delicasy is paramount) he will use a medium (a triffling softer).

If you do not like manicuring your tip (reshaping, de-mushrooming,...), stick to the medium-hard to hard end of the durrometer. These tips take a more deliberate stroke than the softer tips.

Go to youtube and search for "What's in the Case" and "Samm's on the Case." Samm Diep interviews most of the top pros about their cues and accessories they carry in their cases. Efren, being the amateur that he is, uses Elk Master, lol.

That's an excellent suggestion. I've found a lot of good information on youtube about a lot of things and the "What's in the case videos" are very informative.
