OK, So i see a lot of people using different bits to trim tips.. whats on your lathe? Whats the best to use?
What Tool Bits do you use for tip instalation ?

I use a Right Hand High Speed Steel tool bit to trim the tip diameter most of the way down to the ferrule and then trim the last little bit with a Lennox Titanium coated utility knife blade to flush it up to the ferrule. I also use the same type of utility blade to crown the front of the tip.
I use a razor blade
Same here as Chris mentioned.... Sometimes I will use a Kiridashi knife......... Be careful with the Lenox Titanium blades.... They are razor sharp.... Pun intended......

Yea i heard of the Kiridashi knife before.. Dont feel like sharpening it all the time.. Thnaks guys for the info !
