What Tye Brush/Cleaning Method

I ran a search on cleaning pool tables. A lot of good ideas. But after review I have several questions.

Brushing is highly recommended but which type of brush to use? There's horse-hair or nylon. Which brush is more effective in cleaning? Which type is less damaging to the Simonis cloth?

Wiping down occasionaly with a damp cloth is also recommended. Frowned on by some because of cloth loosening. I've tried spraying Windex on the Community table followed by wiping with a clean clothand it does a nice job.

Sonny (SDBilliards) highly recommends the Simonis X-1. Simonis highly recommends it also (it's their product). Looks to be the most non-invasive method to me.

There's also mention of a Pet Hair Adhesive roller but I would worry about any transfer of adhesive to the cloth surface.

It's fairly expensive, but the Simonis X-1 makes the most sense to me. It's based on static attraction, and you can easily vacuum the X-1 occasionaly to remove any chalk build-up.

I have not addressed using spray cleaning products because I don't like adding chemicals to the mix.

With all these options which way would you go to clean your home table?

After years of brushing, vacuuming, and damp wiping, I picked up a Simonis X-1 at Donny's suggestion. I am completely satisfied with it. Now, I just use the X-1 every morning. (I do vacuum the table every month or so, but that's more out of habit than necessity.)
The table stays cleaner than it did under my old system. Also, I find that I don't polish the balls as often.
