What type of pin is this?

The description for this jump/break cue says:

The joint is wood to wood with a quick release pin. The 2nd Joint is at the base of the points to break down for jumping (or for use as a short cue).

The diameter of the smooth part is 7mm, and the diameter at the threads is 9.4mm. The pin looks like it could be a Viking quick release, as shown here:


I bought the cue at billiardwarehouse:

Threads look to course to be the 5/16x18 thread Viking uses.
It looks more like the knock off to uni loc coming out if China. The one on the right in the below picture. The 3/8x12 is just close as it fits my 12 mandrel.

Thanks for the response. I suspected it was a Chinese version of a quick release joint. If I wanted to buy an after market shaft for the butt, is there a joint you would recommend? I'm looking at these Rhino carbon break shafts:

In thier picture's of different joints, the mini uni loc looks close to what you have but I have no way of knowing for sure.
