What was the Worst "Good" Stick You've Hit With ?

I bought a sneaky pete from them in 99 for 175 hated the taper and the hollow feel I lost a 100 to a guy less than a week later and ask if he wanted the cue instead thank god he took it. The best cue is the Filipino cue I have now when I went to the Qylimpics one of the vendors praised the feel and woods. When I told him it was from the PI he said he wouldn't buy one because they were junk. P.S. If anyone would like to try an OMEGA/DPK sneaky I have one for sale because I am not a collector.Once I decided I liked my player to much it went back on the market if I don't use it every day I don't need it.

I have a Showcase sneaky that was made earlier than yours and it has a fantastic taper and no hollow feel. In fact, I consider the hit to be solid yet responsive. Just a great little cue. Picked it up for $80 back in the early 90's.

I have owned 4 Richard Blacks ranging in value from $1000 to $5000 and they all hit the same and IMO had a sweet feel. My Black Boar is a bit more solid, but has a similar feel. I used the BB to win a small barbox tourney this weekend and had a great time smashing the balls around. If you have not tried a Boar, you should.

Same cuemaker made the best and worst hitting cues I've played with, Bill Schick. His regular high end cues all seemed to have big butts and just felt funny but the sneaky pete I had for years played fantastic until it was stolen. The workmanship on his cues is incredible.

Changing shafts can make all the difference on a cue IMO. The taper, ferrule, tips, joints etc... all change the way a cue hits. I've played with cues that played like crap, changed the shaft and it felt great.

I Have To Agree The Ted Harris Plays Great Only Cue I Travel With.have 2 Richard Blacks That Probably Wont Burn & 1 I Played With For 10 Years & Won't Ever Sell, It Plays As Good As Any I've Hit With. Had A Josswest 15 Years Ago Worth 7-$8,000 Today Sold It As Soon As I Could, have One Now That I Wont Sell. Also Have A Stainless Flat Faced Mottey-plays Way Too Good.
