What was your first true custom cue????

I've never owned one..I don't think my TGL out of PI counts..but I've played with my brothers Benson an Hunter,an liked the feel..but the weight of both were close to my JP..some day I my own a costum..first my kids have to stop borrowing all my extra funds...no biggie

First custom

was a $1,100 Shurtz custom that was featured with other of Bob's cues on American Cueist Magazine's cover and interior in January 2001.
 
My first cue that was called a custom was a plain jane Jacoby. It definitely had better fit and finish than most production cues, but I remember it having a model number. I consider it a custom maker's catalog cue. The first cue that I designed with the builder was a DZ.
