What women are in the U.S.OPEN?

Well, if Maddona and Britney were playing, and as you suggest without a bridge, the steam would be coming from him, imho of course.

uhhhh, rickyw,,,WHERE the steam is coming off them, i don't want to suggest on an open forum.

btw,,,,this is how you build up message totals......with short, witty repartee that go on for pages. you see,,,larry does it all wrong. he posts long messages, but they're only one post. equal to about 40 of mine.

Steve,

I sent E-mail to q-masters and was told Barry passed a note through the bars and it read no player list was to be released. I don't attend or pay for events in advance when the program is empty. LOL Some more of pools poor marketing.

So Steve there is no way to tell what women are playing in the US OPEN or anyone else. LOL I can tell you Steve Lipskey is playing so if he is the only one to show up he should be declared the winner :p

Cheers,

Gremlin:cool:

Harry,

I did speak to "C" at Q-masters, so far the only negative to all the UPA and other pool players has been a guy with the initials of Charlie Williams.

What I and some others expect is a repeat from last year's Russian invasion and all those great Canadian players.

NY players will be there and I know some of the great West Coast players will be there also.

The KY/Ohio World beaters will be there too.

Lots of players that attended Grady's event will be staying in that area to compete in the US Open..

I look for a great tournament and with no designation of anohter US Open "Lite" like last year.

SRO on the Finals..

Gremlin,

Not a bad choice. I love pool but it comes in a distant second to my lovely wife who sang at the Monterey Jazz festival with her sisters in 1968 or '69. They sang just before Carmen McRae came out. Thanks for providing the link! I showed my wife and she got a kick out of it.

While I am glad that the later posters spelled Steve's name right, I hope that they are not mocking him. The US Open is exactly what it says, an open tournament, open to anyone who wants to play. Steve is a hell of a player and even nicer guy, who is capable of defeating any of those champions if things go his way. Good Luck Steve!!

you can't assume anything when you read text. gremlin made a passing statement, i don't believe it was meant as you think. so unless it's obviously blatant,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

when something is questioned openly, people will tend to pick up on your take, and the whole thing begins to snowball in the wrong direction....

..just my take on your take.
