what would be a great 8' table to find used?

I don't really have room for a 9' table, so those used Gold Crowns out there just don't work for me. What would be a good choice in an 8 footer? I have a bit of time, as I have a crappo table that works OK, but would love to find something nice that I could find for maybe $1500 or so. Price could adjust somewhat if a real gem came available. Suggestions, anyone?

Olhausen with leather pockets. May be a little out of your range but it is a great playing table.

Olhausen with Accu-fast cushions and Simmonis 860

If I had to go with a 8 footer I would try to get a good table regardless of the type. If you are lucky enough to find a brunswick get it but if you can find a cheaper olhauson or gandy I would get one of those because they can be cheaper. Try to shim up the pockets to make them tighter and just practice hard on it and I believe the rest will take care of itself.:o

I picked up a good Gold Crown 8 footer for $1200. Great table. Steepleton makes a good 8 footer. You can probably buy a new one close to that price.
