What would you do here? Final game @ Predator 9-Ball Tour 4th Stop - Robles vs Park

It's very difficult to discuss push possibilities. It's much easier to determine what is a bad push versus what is a good one. I mean, if it's good, it means you don't know if you do or don't want it. That's not easy to determine on a diagram.

Great point Jude... I am only trying to exercise the idea of having an in-depth discussion on a real game scenario :)

Here is goes again, Park sticked his finger on point A and looked around the table for a long time. Finally he decided to push the CB to upper left corner. Tony came up, looked around carefully, and.....

What would be an intelligent and masterful shot from here?

"push out option" the white over the 5 or kicking off two rails bumping the two from behind to leave the white near the cushion and sending the 2 towards the 5 ball

This is what Tony did..

Sorry for keep you guys hanging, this is what Tony did: he banked the 2 to right past the side pocket and had it blocked by the 7 ball. I know this looks very hard to do. I just want to point out his use of the 3 and 7 balls as CB blockers and the 5 ball as OB blocker was very cool...:)

Now, take a guess what Park did from here?

Well, all I can say is, that's why Tony Robles plays pool for a living! I mean, when you have that much talent, you play by different standards. I wouldn't elect to take that shot but that's because I'm not fond of my chances.
