What year Scruggs were best?

I know they all hit well but are there certain years when scruggs was in his prime? 1979-1986 maybe? Maybe it's a stupid question but just wonder if certain years were better then others..I'm not talking about the way the cues look...I'm talking about the way they play..whats your favorite year? And if you own one post it up so we can see

They all play great. I had a '90ish 4pt player that was awesome. Only gave $300 back then. Somebody offered me way more a few yrs later and i sold it.
