whats a good cue to start out with for around $100-150

I agree with several others that you can't wrong with a Joss. You can catch some very good deals on e-bay.

Or you can even get a new one for 150 bucks. Here's one that I think is sharp, but I like the darker looking cues.

Can you picture a white/black speck wrap on that to contrast the black, thatwould be a nice looking cue for the money
