Hi,

Just factor the new price into your quotes when someone orders this wood so you can replenished your seasoned stock.

If someone wants that wood they will understand the additional 30 to 40 bucks.

Everything has gone nuts. Cocabolo has tripled since Cites stuck there fork in it.

It is only going to get worse.

Tulip wood

Everything, wood wise, from Brazil has gotten expensive if you can even get it.
I got an e-mail from my supplier of Brazilian Rosewood that Brazilian Customs has changed the rules as of the first of the year for all of the Dalbergia species,
including Tulip Wood. Of course no one knows what the new rules are but I have a shipment of Brazilian guitar parts and a shipment of Camelia cue parts stuck in Customs until the Brazilian authorities decipher their own rules.
I was not taken completely by surprise and have a good supply of Tulip and
Brazilian RW for cues as I had heard that the new rules were coming.
