What's in your case?

I love seeing equipment threads, and there hasn't seem to have been one like this in a while, so I thought I'd make one. So what's in your case? Essentials? Funky equipment? Anything's welcome.

Here's my pool cue case:
1: Cue (Peradon Custom • 57" • 9mm Elk Pro • 17.5oz)
2: One-piece aluminium case
3: 6" ebony mini butt
4: 3-in-1 bowtie tool
5: Tip protector
6: Green Triangle chalk
7: Taom 2.0 chalk
8: Peradon microfibre cue towel

  1. Cue - 19 oz McDermott with Hsunami shaft and hard Kitech tip
  2. Lava Chalk in magnetic holder. Lava is good, but it has chunks of pumice in it that I have to dig out with a knife... still working on chalk choice
  3. Last 4 Ever Tip tool (I barely use this but it's in there in case of emergency or to fix other's tips)
  4. Generic tapper for seating the chalk every once in a while
  5. Small key chain type tip pick, just in case
  6. Microfiber towel from an autozone 12 pack of them
  7. Really shitty glove with tears in it in case my hands sweat for some odd reason
  8. Q-Wiz in case I need it to clean, or fix other people's sticks

Nothing really fancy, just mainly stuff I can fix a tip if it gets messed up. Generally only the tip tapper, chalk and cue come out of the case. I really don't need all that stuff but something needs to go into the pockets.

EDIT: Kamui Gator Grip Tool is also in there.

Here’s what’s in there this morning:

The case is a 2-4 made by Steve Price.
main player is a Mobley
Two Arturo Fuente Hemingway’s
A cigar holder that has a small flask on one side filled with Zacapa XO and a Opus X cigar on the other side. (Best gift I got this year)
Tip tapper
Various cutters and punches
some cash
Masters chalk

The cues I've built to meet my needs and preferences when it comes to construction, woods and so on. Still love the wood for my shafts ... hard maple for playing, purple heart for breaking & jumping.
There are always some cubes of chalk I like in my case, the gift from my teacher Jorgen Sandman for some tip maintenance which works just great for more than 20 years already, spider bridgehead, some sandpaper, a piece of leather, a towel.
When it comes to the case ... waiting for a new one ... made a new year's gift to myself ... ordered Urban case from Seyberts which I liked for its light weight and enough space to accommodate all the stuff together with my not so standard cues. Looking forward to get it soon).

Dan Janes (JOSS) custom.
4 identical shafts with Triangle tips.
Last 4 ever tip tool.
Willard tip tool.
Kamui tip tool.
Moosehead bridge head.
No break stick.

Do you play in Dublin? If so, where? I'd like to go to an Irish pool hall next time I am in IRL. I have shot a little in Galway (my father is from there) but haven't found anything other than really small tables. If I won the lottery I'd move to Ireland and open a pool hall/sports bar in Galway city....

Leisureplex in Blanchardstown. I don't tend to play often, but when I do go, it's usually for snooker (or at least pool on a snooker table).

My Barracuda snooker cue and a cube of Master chalk. If I cycle to play, then a spare bicycle key. If playing at the Legion or Community Centre then a ‘Cup of Soup’ package on cold days.

If at the Pool Hall it’s $5 so I bring $10 So enough to have a coffee and leave a tip.

In my case, I have my old McDermott from the early 1990's. It's my go-to player. I've bought other, and arguably "better" cues over the years, but I'm just most comfortable with my old McDermott.
She's got a beautiful dark stain wood butt and black leather wrap.

I broke out my old late 80’s McDermott last night in the garage with the kids. It needs a new shaft but it still plays really good so I get what you’re saying.

We use to have this gentleman come to our local Tuesday 9 Ball Bar Tournment, he had this Porper 4 x8 Case, is what like full, and both pockets budged. The reason was always had 3 Chines Cue For Sale, Plus Q-Claws, Chalk, Tip Tappers, and other accessories.

Had he not been sell stuff he would have travel light, apprently use to make good money doing this 5 or 6 days a week.

But the guy should have had a pack mule. His Trunk was alway another 10 or so Cjues For Sale.

It's George soft case
Schon STL-1 butt
Jacoby Ultra Pro Shaft 12.75mm
Zan Hybrid Max tip
Selvyt Microfiber Cloth 10"x10"
