What's in your JB Case? - WIN A CASE.

3 x 6 Ultimate Rugged

Just in time for the next drawing!

Playing cue:

Mezz EC7
a theft proof Lucasi (the pink flames are an excellent deterrent) with Tiger X Pro or Hybrid Slim Shaft

Break cue: Mezz Power Break Pro

I play out of Corner Pocket and Fox and Hound in the New Orleans area. My daughter likes to personalize my case and pool accessories with her stickers. Warms my heart on top of making my stuff easily identifiable.

Cheers!
Nhu

Yes I will be drawing February's winner soon.

I'm sorry, John, but what the word "soon" means to you?
You wrote this almost two weeks ago...
Is everything ok with you? Are you ill? Or maybe you can't reach your computer?))
All the people here are waiting for the february's winner.
It will be nice to get the information from you in time.
Thanks.

Jekka- Dont want to speak for him...but I know he has been busy all this week for the SBE EXPO. It runs thru Sunday. He has a large display set-up, and very busy wth the crowds I'm sure. (he still has to "pay" for giving away a free case...:) ).

Hi, Bob.
I understand that.
But this is not a reason to announce a February's winner in May, for example. Isn't it?
One, two, even three days is ok. But two weeks...

Sit back, relax and have some popcorn. John's been on the road for over a month, set up a booth at the Expo for a week and his match is coming up on Tuesday. I'm sure he'll more than make up for it!!

Johns giving away another case and this guy is complaining that the winner of the FREE case hasn't been announced yet lol.

Can't please everyone!

He can choose to cancel the drawing at any time if he wants.
Giving a case away(last month 2) every month is pretty damn generous.
How long will this contest go on? 2 months, 6 months, 2 years?

You do understand that John is in no way obligated to give any cases away, right? Unless you have been living under a rock...John has a HUGE match coming up on Tuesday, and I am guessing his focus is primarily there, along with his SBE gig he does every year.

The fact that he is giving cases away is pretty dang cool. But one needs to remember that it's his give-away, his timeline. Cut the guy some slack...he doesn't have to give away anything, and yet he does. He'll get to it. It's called patience.

In my case is a Dave Pearson I won in a quickie raffle at state this year. Plays real good for a cue that cost me $10! Using that while my regular cue is getting some work done. I have an Alex Brick jump break in there too. All the regular junk, q claw, pocket chalker, extra chalk, sandpaper, piece of leather, pen, sanction card, etc.

Is this thing still on?
In my Ultimate Rugged I have: a Bill Stelzenmuller custom shooter with extension, 314-2 extra shaft (main), Poison J/B, shaft cleaner thingy, Ultimate tip tool, a tip pick, phone charger, Blue Diamond chalk, Pens (always need for league), a square of shelf liner. The line's non all slip material is perfect to keep cues in place when leaned against any surface. It's simple, practical, inexpensive, easy to transport & lighter than the cue claw.

I shoot mainly out of Browns Billiards in Raleigh, NC but frequent some other local rooms.

You do understand he doesn't have to do this at all don't you? With your attitude, I wouldn't be surprised if John decides to forego any more drawings. Stop your whining.

I deleted my pictures of the case couple of days ago, and I don't care about this contest. But I do care about John's attitude. Look at those people, who post their pictures of JB cases, do you think it's too easy? I can tell you, that taking good pictures require a lot of time. And time - is money.
I suppose this is what some of you guys think about it, but don't write, because you don't want to upset John.

Regards,

lolwut? Not sure if serious.

So silly. I think most people would be sharing their pictures without any contest at all. I'm guessing most are proud of their setup and like showing it off a little. And I'm not really worried about the 3 minutes or so it took me to take my picture. If John never does another drawing for a case I won't be bothered by it one bit, he's already been more than generous enough and I'm just happy to have a few of these rugged cases because I know they'll protect my cues better than anything else.

Ha, almost everyone on this forum likes to show off their equipment. This contest actually gives them an excuse and a good reason to. No one is making anyone participate. If your time is too precious then don't join in, and certainly don't ruin it for the rest of the people that are perfectly happy with sharing their equipment with the forum. It's just that simple.

To everyone else, good luck!

Regards,

John is currently traveling the East Coast of the US, selling his cases...helping a lot of people to avoid the shipping fee from ordering something he may well already have with him. That's a $75 savings, BTW...which makes the cases, especially the vastly popular Rugged Series, just all that more affordable. Kudos to him, and those lucky players who get one of his cases.

Take your marbles, and go back home. You pulling pictures just makes the odds everso slightly better for everyone else. Your loss, no one else's. John will get around to it, when he gets around to it...and I'm betting he'll make the delay worth it.

The man is giving away a case and you guys are complaining? At least you guys currently have a case to protect your cues while others don't. Also, we don't have a JB case to photograph so we can enter. Consider yourselves lucky.

Heck, mine is in one of those cheap red velvet Lucasi pouches.
