What's the best linen wrap?

I recently had my cue refinished and rewrapped by a cue maker here in CA, I won't say names but the cue maker accepted this job knowing he only had an insufficient amount of white and brown speck linen left. I knew it because he showed me the amount and said "this should be enough". But I assumed he would get more of it if needed. Well, 2 weeks went by, and my cue was finished, but I wasn't excited about the rewrapped job. I can tell that he didn't have enough linen so now I have to resend the cue back to him. I was wondering what is the best brand of linen and where can I get it? I'm sure he would order some but I want to "make" sure he has it before I send back my cue just to cut the waiting time shorter. So I'm just gonna purchase it for him.

Would be better posted in 'ask the cuemaker' forum. I myself do not know brand names of current linens, but there are other alternatives as you may know. Cork and stacked leather are super nice, as well as the usual hide materials. Good luck to you.
