I'm old, decrepit, and blind. From 5 feet away the six ball looks like a fuzzy olive. I need the six-out.

I wish you had said that you need two balls so that I could hit you with the Grady Matthews line, "Yeah, I'll give you two balls, and the thing that goes with 'em." :D

Just thought it would be fun to see how people vote on this one.

It is interesting, everyone must want to have additional variables to worry about when shooting a shot. Banking takes speed control, for example, the others do not...the bank is a lowest percentage of the 3 in my opinion.

How would anyone choose a DEAD bank shot as the hardest? I thought dead implied if you hit it it goes in

There are no dead bank shots. If you don't beleive me, set it up...I can miss it.

Ok, I guess I'll play the straight man on this one. "Dead", as it applies to bank shots, simply means that you do not have to cut the object ball to achieve the required angle into the cushion. You still have to hit the shot perfectly, though, if you want to make it; you just don't have to do the calculation of the angle that is normally required when banking balls. Perhaps a better term for this type of shot would be "straight-in bank"?
