Whats the softest cuetip youve ever played with.

Le Pro is the softest tip I have ever played with. I learned early on that a hard tip gives you better control of english. I have shot with soft tips in trying other peoples cues, and they are 'spongy' and unpredictable. Many misconceptions exist about soft tips, and that is why so many amateurs use them. Most of the pros, a large majority, play with a medium to hard tip, and there has to be a reason why!!!

It's like comparing a normal car's steering to a sports car's steering. The sports car's steering is so much better response.

What do you think players like Shanon Daulton and Larry nevel play with? Many top players play with a soft tip. Kamui s and ss are popular with many top players. I think many of the pinoys play with soft tips.

I agree. I like the kamuii ss now but I don't know of any tip softer than elkmaster.

I've been playing Elk's forever. I got a Kamui SS on a slightly used OB Classic shaft & I would say it plays softer but maybe that is because it is thicker, hence more cushion on harder hits. JMHO.

When it was full thickness, the cue ball seemed to be sticking to it until I removed a few layers.

thanks for the replies yall, i got a new cue so im gonna be trying a few diff tips on my diff shafts and see which one i like. Elklmaster will be first i guess. Then ill work my way up from there.
