This new version is part of the upgrade necessary to enable the new chat room feature..
I got this info from reading the other posts tonite on AZBilliards
I will be installing the shoutbox this weekend. The software I want to use required the latest version of the VBulletin software. This version has some nice bells and whistles too.

One of the other nice things that the new version has is a content sydication feature. Check out the bottom of the front page of the site and you will see what I am talking about. Just another way to drive more people into the forums.
