I play with 12.9 on my southwest cue. It seemed a little big at first because I used to shoot with predators but now I am used to it and I like 12.9.
Southwests are the best. IMO

Ditto on the 12.9. It wasn't on the list so I didn't vote.

After some soul searching, my prefered diameter is 12.75 or lower.

whats diameter do you feel comfortable playing with.

and are there any disadvantages or advantages to using this diameter.

If the shaft is not laminated then I prefer somewhere around 12.4mm for a good dense shaft...

11.75mm is my choice because I like the Predator Z shaft best... Especially for 9 ball on a big table
