wheelertech subliminal tapes for billiards

I recently purchased the self hypnosis/subliminal CD from wheeler tech that is geared towards pool players. All I hear on the thing is the sound of the ocean. I am an employee in a medical center and pick the brains of some of the shrinks on the staff while working on their equipment. They told me that self hypnosis is a valid method of enabling a person to perform to the best of their ability or to stay focused on the task at hand. Has anyone had any experience with the CD that wheeler tech sells and if so what is your opinion. Thanks for any feedback.

I've always been skeptical of psycho-babble, self-help instructional methods; but I may have to re-evalute. I found a tape player under the bed last week (placed there by my wife). Willee...I don't know if you got a different tape than I did or you need to schedule an appointment tomorrow with an audiologist, but I had a similar one under my bed with the ocean rolling and all and found it to be a sex tape.

Funnily enough I noticed at the recent WPBA tour stop in San Diego that both Vivian and Gerda spent a lot of time with headphones on. Vivian was even listening to her Ipod whilst she was warming up. Perhaps now we know what they were listening to?

I found these tapes extremley relaxing to listen to and a good cure for insomnia.Did they help my game.....if so not by a noticable amount.I did not, however, listen to them for an extended period of time to give them a fair trial. My friend however, swears by them.RJ

You just didn't follow through. Once you started falling asleep at the table while you were shooting, you should have popped an amphetamine to wake yourself back up. End of story........

check out the thread about st louie louie. Sounds like he use to listen to tapes when he was asleep!! They said after he listen to them he was unbeatable so unbeatable that another player stole them there tapes!!
