When confronted with BIG BALLS...

Here's the deal. I have a Predator BK (hard sumo leather tipped) break cue that I use to break with during my league matches, that are played on 9 foot tables, where the cue balls are the same size as all the other balls. But when I play on coin operated 7 foot, bar room tables, that have those BIGGER and HEAVIER balls, I use my phenolic tip cue to break with. My thinking is the phenolic break cue will give me a better break against those BIGGER BALLS and I don't have to worry about wearing out the tip on my predator break cue. Is that true?

What do you mean 'Bigger balls'? All Pool balls are 2 1/4" diameter except the
'Mud' Cue ball which is bigger and heavier. Oh, I forgot about the little Mud cue ball.

big balls

My neighborhood bar has an 8' coin-op table and the cue ball is much bigger than the object balls. A standard sized cue ball won't return. There used to be a lot more tables with the bigger cue ball. Thank goodness most of em are not around anymore.
