When did Brunswick start making 8' pool tables ?

Anyone know the decade and or year ??

Someone was trying to sell me an 8' table they said was an 1800's Brunswick but I did not think Brunswick made 8' tables that early. I really do not know but would appreciate any info on the subject.

They made a lot of 8' tables in the 1800's.

Brunswick 8 foot tables

The Monarch was first made in 1868 and it came in a 4 x 8. It's possible there were others before that but I can't think of any.
