If ya'll ever find yourselves in or near the garden spot known as Washington D.C., you HAVE to give me or Alpine (Myron) a buzz.
Recently, Myron introduced me to one of his regular rooms....Bungalow Billiards in Sterling, VA (near Dulles Intl. Airport). Comparatively speaking (to some of the "seedier" parts of town), Bungalow is a real nice place to play. Nice tables, excellent service, the music is low enough to not be distracting...........
PLUS, there are some players in there that will give you a good run for your money. Myron offers up as much competition as I can handle, and I've had the pleasure of meeting Purdman there twice. Both guys are great to spend some time with, and I really enjoyed the games I played with both. I met quite a few people there over the last two weekends, and all of 'em were very nice, very welcoming to a newcomer, and apparently always willing to jump in on a game (friendly....or perhaps otherwise!!
