This is a situation I ended up in last night in the first game of the finals. I ran it down to this point and got out of shape. I looked at it for a while and finally said I will call the 3 in the corner just in case. I lined up and kicked at the 3 off the short rail and I hit it pretty good. The 3 rolled down the table and kissed off the 15 and right into the corner. The cue ball came off the 3 and hit the 5 down table then kissed off the 12 and gave me perfect shape on the 5. I sunk the 5 with a stop shot and then sunk the 8 for the run out. So hence the title of my post. When it's your night, it's your night

You are right. I knew that if I hit the shot right it would go and I got a little luck that I hit it just off and it kissed of the 15. I was pretty stoked and had to take a couple deep breaths to regain my composure. Thanks for the rep too
