When to quit playing league?

It's hard to bear down in a league of 1k players where Wes is the only guy who can beat me. And I am not bragging about that....... lol

Yeah, someday you'll get your balls back and come out to the real world :) I don't get how you don't bring your backer and come play some banks a night or 2 a week and make some money for your vegas trip!

Make a banger post and you'll have action within a hour or two I would think. Just word it better than I did, heh.

Sigh, how did I know you were going to bring that up. I don't see Cyclops really anymore (and not sure of his cash flow for backing...Borden wants to but wants me to take some of my action. I'm nitting it up on savings for Vegas so not sure I see me playing anytime soon since that trip is less than 4 months away. Not a whole lot of drive to play pool now at the moment.

Add to it trip #2 is April 8-15 to the Dominican Republic...that aint cheap either.

If you have an APA Masters League in you area try that. I've played the TAP and APA leagues in my area and didn't get satisfaction in playing them due to sandbagging and the skill levels of the players I was playing against. Masters is better due to the skill level of the players is higher generally, and no handicapping.
 
I like league pool and I find ways to challenge myself even playing against the worst players. I think the APA changing it up where they are doing points now instead of wins has made it even more challenging for the higher level players because now we have incentive to try to win every game of 8ball. As with any time on the table, be it solo practice or against opponents...if you are not playing with real concentration and effort to play at a high level, then you are probably missing an opportunity to improve.

All that said, if your not having any fun...then you probably arent getting better either. Its hard to improve your game in a negative environment.
