if i am having a cue built i ask for a build sheet....basically all the info down on a piece of paper with cue makers signature....that works for a loa for most.....and you can send a cue back to the cue maker and have them look it over and the write a loa.....and it depends on the maker if they charge or not...some do some dont.....it might help if you tell us which maker you are asking about getting a loa from and i am sure someone can give you the correct answer....or you could just call the cuemaker and ask him....hope that helps a little....
