When you go to a kind of Bad Pool Room what do you take with you.

i used to work at a small bar that only had two tables and standing room, uh a few barstools. was open later than anywhere in town. i was the doorman. most redneck joint in town, if i played pool id use a plain cocobolo barber break/jump

I always took a "tuch hog" with me.

Once in Bakersfield, we are playing the local hero $20 a game Eight Ball (in the 70's) and betting $80-100 a game on the side. This was big action then.

Hi,
was it Bobby u were playing in Baker`s field?
by the way Touche Hog is a word used in some Southern states.

If you are one who play in shall we say less than desirable places, what is you Minimum Outfit you take to play with.

1. Willards Tip Tapper/Tip Shaper on my key chain.
2. Small 3" X 5" sheet of 600 Sandpaper.
3. Play "Off the Wall" and tune up the Tip & Shaft when you get a chance.
:)

I bring, an SOG boot knife 12", and It's george tip tool, sandpaper, and a friend.

The key to friend is to make sure they are quiet and doesn't drink. If you bring one roudy friend with you then you are asking to get involved. An "I don't give a Sh*t" attitude helps too.

Some of these places aren't pool halls. Such as a previous post with a club arcade etc. I never go to those places. my above stuff is what i bring to a pool hall in a bad part of town.

a legheld money belt a ballmark repair tool(for golf for all you non golphers)that fits nicely in my fist, and I always dress down, wear ratty jeans and an old T-shirt. I leave my wallet at home and my drivers licence in the car.
