When you're in dead stroke...

Hey folks, just wondering if this phenomena is just for me or is general.

While practicing last night, for whatever reason that triggered it, I put myself in dead stroke. I was shooting many Tucker's drills and I was in the range of SS or Pro. Never happened before.

One thing I remembered was my cue felt lighter. I used a 21oz predator cue which is considered heavy by many, but it felt like the cue was so light that it was my extended arm.

Anyone had any experience like this?

It's a good feeling to feel the cue at it's lightest. Usually I adjust myself in practice to make sure that my hand is hanging straight down from my elbow. This makes the cue feel the lightest as I'm not using any energy curling it in or holding it outwards.
