When you're sweating action

would you rather sweat a match between two top level players where the play is nearly perfect? or

Sweat a match between two mid-level players where the play is not so perfect. When the players bend over for the shot, you're not sure if they will: 1) miss-cue; 2) actually make the shot; or 3) get position for the next shot.

Personally, I like sweating both. But, sweating a match between mid-level players can be an emotional roller coaster. The adrenaline is pumping, you're hanging on the edge of your set not knowing how your horse will perform, this is just down right entertaining.

Personally, I don't sweat any action. I'd rather be in it.

If I'm putting money down, it's not on anything out of my control. That's the way I am. I'll put money down if I'm the one playing for it. If I lose, it's my fault. If I win, I earned it. I just can't tolerate the idea that someone else lost my money. My 2 cents.

I haven't ever staked anyone, but I think the mystery fo who will come out on top is the same for both cases... although how they got there is entirely different. with top pros you just wait for one of them to stop their string of rack after rack... with mid levels, you just wait for a few balls. It's more back and forth (re: emotional rollercoaster), but I'm not sure it's any more or less exciting than the top players. Well, okay - you dont get to see magnificientally ran racks or crazy positions, but you do get to see some interesting luck, rolls, etc. So it might even out in the end.
