I have two of the original Cue Tenders 2 cue holders, one in Cocobolo and another in BEM.
It would appear that CueStix Intl has now begun producing these, in non-exotic wood versions, and are calling them Q Tenders. They may now be of oak, with a choice of stain applied. PoolDawg has them currently @ $7.95...which is a far cry from their original price of $40 and up for the exotic versions, which were produced by the Cue Tender Co. They also made the pricier 5 cue version.
I do not know if the gentleman who was originally crafting these is still in business or not, but I did find some contact info for you:

I wouldn't mind getting one of his 5 cue versions for my league play.
While my original one was the Cocobolo that was purchased from Meullers many moons ago now...I lucked out and picked up my BEM one brand new off of eBay several years ago for $15. They were extremely well crafted, and came with a nice heavy vinyl drawstring traveling pouch.
