Ive been on the Tar lately they've got some great content purchased a few matches, I am looking for the match between alex and shane where alex was way down and comes back to beat him...I cant find it anywhere, anyone know where I can get it from? really want to watch it.

Probably the best match I've ever seen, I have it, but unfortunately for you I'm not looking to sell it.

Also I looked and TAR only has three matches it looks like in the on demand section and that's not one of them.
Sorry, but as far as finding it somewhere to buy or watch, I'm just no help as I simply don't know.

I'm also looking for past matches. I would be willing to buy all of them. I have emailed Justin from TAR a few times but never got a reply.

Same here. My DSL is erratic, and my streaming experience ranges from rarely satisfactory, through frustrating, to unworkable. I sent an email through the TAR site contact page, with no response. Hopefully if enough requests are sent in, someone will act on them.

I have an original set of the SVB vs. Alex first race to 21 that has been dubbed the best set ever videoed - From website: It is a 10 Ball race to 21 that had the most exciting ending of any match TAR has ever filmed. Commentators for the match are John Schmidt, Darren Appleton, Bobby Hunter and Jeanette Lee. It was truly one of those rare moments in pool that people who were there will talk about for a long time.

This is being sold via Vimeo On Demand for $6 (http://vimeo.com/ondemand/svblion) but if you want the real dvd set, make me an offer - in excellent condition and all original packaging that is no longer available.

I think I worked a few games of that match with Bob and Jeanette, the last few games I believe.

I really wish Justin got more of the matches out there, he needs a helper.
I'm sure there are a dozen people on the forums that can take his footage and convert it to whatever format he needs.

For putting things on YouTube from TAR or Accustats, doubt you'll find anyone on here that will do that, unless they got the OK from the companies.

It can get frustrating when people are willing to buy the product but it's not just available from the official source. That is when you often end up with bootleg copies, not just someone trying to get it for free.

Indeed, it probably takes alot of time converting all the matches, uploading etc etc.

Shame we cant help, I got a fast upload speed at home with enough storage to convert alot of DVD's.
 
I have a bunch of TAR matches including the one mentioned. I would sell them all for the right price. I'll make a list of them......

His footage is a lot higher bandwidth than DVDs, and also longer, it's probably BluRay size (30 gig or more). You get an HD movie that's 2 hrs long and it's 25 gig just for the main movie file. The shorter TAR matches are about double that, the longer are 8 hours. That's 100gig + of data to crunch through.
 
Justin has said several times (both here and on podcasts) that he plans to get the old TAR matches up on the OnDemand site. But, as was stated early, it does take a lot of processing time to get them formatted and uploaded. I'd love to think he'd get one a month up, but with his new role with CSI, I'm just hoping for one per quarter. ;)
