Where did all the money go?

Just got through watching Thorsten Hohmann breaking and running out the last rack of 8-ball during the 2006 IPT World 8-ball tournament Finals. It was hill-hill. 1st prize: $350,000 2nd prize:$100,000 (to Marlon Manalo)

That was a joyous moment not just for Hohmann, but I felt happy too, because I thought the future of pool was gonna be great because of the huge payouts, but we all know what happened.

I wonder what Thorsten did with all that money. Did it change his life?

I doubt it, particularly when you get about $20.00 per month over two years.

I felt so badly for those guys. It is just hard to imagine where their attitudes went after that whole sham. People are still hanging onto the idea though and entering some of his BS.

There were a couple of guys I really worried about after that. NOt many from that period have played vry well since.
