Where do you look?

I've just been trying different methods of shooting because i seem to be in a funk where i can't increase my shot making ability anymore (it's like i've peaked). I've tried looking at the object ball only from the time i lean over the table to the time the cue ball makes contact. I've tried looking at the cue ball to find the exact spot i want to hit and then looking at the object ball only. and thus far the best method i've found is get down for the shot, find the spot i want on the cue ball, find the spot i want to contact the object ball, find the middle of the pocket i want the OB to go in, then back to the objext ball (i'll give the CB a second glance if i'm still not comfortable). So to sum up, i wanted to know what everyone's routine is to increase shot making ability to their best ability.

The first part of the routine to increase your shot making ability is to work on your fundamentals. A straight, reliable and repeatabe stroke and solid preshot routine are great places to start.

There are different eye patterns that can help, but there is not a magic pattern (IMO) that is best for everyone.

You said you find the spot on the cueball, could you be a little more detailed about this portion of your routine?

if she is taller than me I tend to look at her breasts and then I see her face. Its tough getting over the fact some girls will be taller than me.

If she is shorter than me I can look right at her eyes. Then I tend to slouch over so she doesnt have to stare upwards.

There are a bunch of other ifs I will not get into right now seeing as its midnight madness night.
