I have a friend with a damaged Bludworth original and to retain its value he is eager to have Mr. Bludworth do the work on it. I understand he lives out in Lakey Texas or atleast has a resturant down there.

I told him I would jump on here to see if I could get any contact info for Mr. Bludworth.

Thanks in advance guys,
Alex R.

P.S. Yes, I understand he retired some time ago, however Iv heard that he has still been doing some work.

To be honest with you, Bludworth cues have little to no value left. I have seen cues from Leonard that were $2k new sell for about $300 recently. I had one I paid $800 for and could barely give it away. I ended up trading it for a $300 trade value. He has a bad attitude and has done a great deal of damage to his own reputation IMO.

My advice is get someone else to do the repairs. It is not going to hurt the little value left and it will be much easier to deal with someone else.

Thos cues got plenty of value left in them down here in Texas. If Leonard made it you can sale it for good value stil here. Thats not true.

That's great for him. I just know what happened to me. If he can get the value back out of it, I am very happy for him. I am just giving my experience with the ones I have owned.

Apparently, don't listen to me. I have a phone number for him. I don't know if it's old or not, but if you want it PM me and I'll give it to you.

Leornards wife passed away a few years back and Leonard hasn't been doing much since then. He got asked to leave the APA Nationals a few years back beacuse of his raffel girls attire and that was the last that I saw of him. The blue book should have has info in it?

I talk with Leonard from time to time. He is in Leaky,TX. with his wife Suzanne and I believe he told me about a year ago he was going to begin making 4 point veneered cues again. We had a great dinner in Mexico once. I have loved and hated him. I actually think most people have. LOL
I am his friend. I have 3 of his high end cues and play with one a lot. My wife will only play with a Blud,
Don

I took Leonard and his beautiful wife Suzanne fishing in May--very nice people--sold the restaurant best chicken fried steak in Texas. Phone number I have is 830-275-0302
This should help

It can matter of where you are for values. I sold a 48 ford pick up a few years ago for $3800. and the thing was trucked to Ca. and was turned over for over $8000. There was just no market for it where I am. I don't believe original Bludworth cues are worthless as you imply.

I will gladly give you $400 for every $2000 blud you find for $300 in good shape. So you can make $100 each.
