LMAO....oh yes you will. You have no idea right now...these aren't Ohio blocks that you're looking at, I don't care how much you like walking. We're talking looonnnngggggg distance and hotter than hell. OK...I exaggerated...it's 5 degrees cooler than HELL!

Yeah, my first time in Las Vegas (2000), I went two and out. I was livid with myself and went on a walk in 110 degree heat, clear skies for about 30 minutes. I walked out as pale as a poolplayer can be and came back looking like I spent the summer at the beach!

Monorail

Was there last month and used the newly opened Monorail system that goes the length of the strip and it was great. Saves a lot of walking even though it is still a long walk just to get to any station as they are all behind the casinos however it seems a little expensive, 3 dollars each way or you can buy 10 tickets for 20 dollars to reduce it to 2 bucks each way. But it is nice, and air conditioned. Lot cheaper than a cab or a bus with no traffic hastles.

Living in the Valley of the Sun, I M use to a Little Hot Weather.... Street People do not bother me, but $2.00 for the Bus from DT to the Rivera is managable..... :D

Check at the main desk at the bus station when you get there. There's free public transportation to get about anywhere in Vegas, but you need to ask someone about it.
If they can't help you at the bus station, go to the nearest hotel & inquire at the desk, I'm sure they can help you.
