When I was living in Jacksonville, Fl in the early 90s, word filtered out that Gametime was having crazy action. I remember Butch Croft telling me some crazy stories of how he was there and saw the owner (I guess Hodges) staking Tony Watson in some crazy games. Butch told me that they were betting sky high and after every game Hodges would yell out "who wants to bet more??!!!" He was afraid to go bet more because he was certain at any point with the side getting so high that business was going to happen.
Maybe a few folks on here that were there during the heyday of Gametime can give us a few stories.
