There was an announcement today that, unfortunately, there have been unforeseen construction delays at The Corner Bank and the venue will be unable to host the 2014 Canadian Pool Championships open events. As has happened in the past Shooters in Mississauga will host the Open events next month and The Corner Bank will play host to the Snooker Championships in June.

The CBSA and owners of the venue apologized for the inconvenience in an email distributed to the Provincial representatives today. Thank you for your continued support in making these events a success year after year.

See you all on the felts!

Can someone explain to me why there is virtually no promotion of the Canadians? I'm going to be there on Tuesday evening and Wednesday playing in the CCS Advanced eight ball. Guess I'm just used to BCAPL/ACS/VNEA/APA promoting their events on AZ as well as elsewhere. Hope they get a great turnout.
