been using Kamui Black Hards for a number of years now

want to try something new, what may be an improvement or at least something fun to try?

I'm seeing bits and pieces online (i.e. possible fake reviews) around the following brands;

G2, Navigator, Zan, How Titan, and Taom

thanks in advance for your feedback

Check out the How hard!, Zan mediums are great, But I am currently hooked on the SIB Cool blue Medium, but may be trying the hard one day. I haven't put a Kamui on one of my cues in ages the black's are glazing junk in my opinion, only ones I semi trusted was the original soft or medium.

The SIB Pro, is also a very nice tip for the money.

Mike Wooldridge tips worked well for me on both snooker and pool cues. Not sure how easily available they are these days. I bought a whole grip of them before.

Prior to that, I was using Century tips.

Pool has a billion jazzy names and overpriced silliness.

Not sure what the buzz on Zan tips is. Had three or four shafts come with a Zan. Removed and replaced every time. Don't get on with them at all.

Hoping Mike Wooldridge makes more tips before I run out of these. I also have a couple of Longoni Fuji tips that I haven't tried, but was given by a friend when I first started playing pool and was moaning about how horrible the Zan tip on my shaft was. My logic was to put what felt good on my snooker cue on the shaft. Which is what I have stuck with since. Will give the Longoni a go at some point.

SIB tips have nothing to be ashamed about VS any of them out there. Same with Ultraskin.

They are as good as any for any price. Which makes them an exceptional value.

I sure wish Tom would make some in traditional brown colors though.

Something about that just makes a cue look sharp!
You try the Fire? Brownish red, play great.

Next big thing will be the non-binary 'trans tips', automatically shifts from 'rigid' for power shots to 'med stiffy' then to 'flaccid' for those dainty touch shots. ;)
I think trans tips are the ones that go from convex to concave (and vice versa). This is not to be confused with a "fruit basket" which is when tip, shaft, and balls are all tucked behind the butt. I've never personally seen this and now that i think of it, perhaps they weren't talking about cues.......
