I am not Larry, I am not a fake. My name is really Peter. I was trying to be funny typing bad English but I am not a fake. I went to University in UCLA and got a master. I am retired and that much is true.
May be I have a strange sense of humor--it is funny for me to see people thinking right away I am poor, I am uneducated, and all that when they see that I am Chinese--I was just having a little fun. It always make me laugh to see people like Jack with all his sterotypes.
I am sorry about turning this thread into the way it is.
Honestly, I was not intentionally trying to attack Blackjack. I was offended by his comments. He also PM me and I was offended by what he said there. I have a problem with Donald and Deroo but I have good reason to, which is something beyond this discussion.
I know I should not have hijacked a few threads including Sarah's own. I was carried away in my attempt to have some fun, much like what I thought you had been doing. I am sorry about that.
I see that a lot of people fails to see that we were having fun with the poll and they actually took it very seriously. They were very mad about me asking for more votes. I did not expect that kind of responses.
I am not the only person in the forum with an attitude towards others. The responses from varies people amazed me and they were very interesting. When someone gets mad, it is always his/her first response to just attack the other person based on certain sterotype(s). It is so predictable to hear them trying to fighten the other person physically although it is quite ridiculous considering that it is the Internet. I was waiting for comments about my mother but only got one. It takes a lot more to reason and logically analysis. Unfortuantely, I did not see anything like that.
What I am trying to say is that I took the whole thing as a big joke, but somehow, others seem to have taken this quite seriously, which really puzzles me. And I apology for any trouble and inconvenience I may have caused you and Sarah. Please tell Sarah I am sorry.
I also want to withdraw from the poll. It was just a joke to begin with anyway and it is such a shame to see such a well organized thread being turned into a big fight because of me.
I have a great time talking and joking with you. I am sure we can have a blast if we ever meet each other as I really like your sense of humor. I do not usually start a fight with others without reason. I was offended by Blackjack and Jack and Donald's response. And now I think I was partially responsible for their behaviors. They look at the whole forum from a very different prespective than mine, so it is very difficult for us to see and accept each other.
Anyway, I am sorry. Wish you all the best with your home life.
