Which cue is it?

I don't have pix yet but, what cue mfg. do I have where the weight bolt is all black including the (looks like) #3 Phillips head.
 
Are you assuming it did not get swapped out at some point or do you know it's original?
 
Assuming, yes.
I got it from the original owner (had it so long he forgot what make it is) said he did nothing to it including the tip. That makes me believe it's OEM weight bolt.
It has the Meucci classic long furrule, 5/16 pin and hits like a Meucci. The weight bolt is my last wonder.
There's nothing in the way of marks to say what it is.
TOO tired tonight for pix, tomorrow before noon, voting #1 on my list.

5/16-18 or 5/16-14?

I didn't count the threads, diameter felt like 1/2".

Honestly the easiest way would be to take it into a hardware store and use the little thread tester to see what it was.

I have a full set of SAE Tap & Dies in the garage.
MOST LIKELY SUSPECT would be the 1/2" x 20 since it's threading into wood.
So Boog, what do I have?
 
You have to walk to the garage and check it lol. Show a direct side view with white paper behind it. The threads almost look metric but hard to tell with no sense of scale.

I read somewhere last week Meucci made cues without any markings, I'm wondering if this could be one.
Thread 5/16-18
No markings anywhere of any kind on the butt or shaft.
Butt-cap is exactly like my (real) Meucci.
Battery is size AA.
(sorry, poor pix) Shaft is 1/2" diam., 'tip to taper beginnings' takes up 2/3 its length.
The weight bolt hole is just over 8 inches deep.
