Which Moori's are real?

Hi Bryan. Since you use so many, I assume you don't buy into the conversation that Moori quality has declined.

They last me so long that I haven't used many over the past few years so I am no "scientific sample" but I have had ZERO problems with mine.

Regards,
Jim

Hello Jim,

No, I don't believe the quality has gone down, I do believe that for a time (late 90's early00's that there were inconsistant moori's out there, but unless you have some of that stock or for lets say you buy 10 moori's 2-14-00, you only use them on your cues, and you use the last one up an lets say 2-14-08 and they are not in the vaccume packs, and you have them on a shelf in your house, office, pool room and the tips go through temp changes, humidity changes, people handling them with sweaty, wet, or greasy hands (pizza, hamburger, chip, body, KY jelly) ok my be I could have left off the ky, but any way most of these are realistic conditions for tips when not put in proper containers, or places, And I've seen it before. I got a moori to put on a guys cue 6-8 months ago and I think the tip was 1-2 years old at that time, and the tip was so dirty, and it didn't cut very well and he came back 1-2 weeks later with another tip to put on saying he didn't like the one I put on before, I told him this might be the problem, but I put on his other tip, same results, well then he asked me to put a fresh one on and presto changeo, hit great.

Blah Blah, anyway moori is consistantly the best tip on earth, I know some great players that use them, that have tried the other premium tip on the market and we all agree it doesn't compare to the moori. Some other tips are right for some other people yes totaly, but day in and day out, the moori is #1. JMHO. I play with a Moori H. on my cue, I put Super pro's on my cues as our standard tip.

We just got 60 of the new label from Omega, and they are very nice tips. I would call it a "crisp" trim/shape. Better than a lot of the ones we have gotten the last couple of years. Players love em.

here is their info, again
