which player resembles your style of playing?

sorry if this is one of those, "what's the point?" threads. my friend and i have been comparing our playing tendencies to pros who have distinct playing styles. just thought i'd get some additional info.

btw, i liken myself to Feijen. with the rigid mechanical bridge hand, the pause at the end of the stroke and the solid pre-shot routine. i'd like to play like busta or corey, but i am what i am i guess...

which one best describes you?

Francisco Bustamante? loose grip? constantly playing for multiple rail position? fast and loose but powerful break?

Efren Reyes? quiet? smooth and accurate? usually makes the the correct decisions?

Earl Strickland? fast player with a harsh break with an attitude to fit the bill?

Allison Fisher? shoulders square? chin to cue? solid snooker textbook play?

keith mccready? you confuse people with your unorthodox stroke and mechanics, but for some reason, it works and you're a decent player.

i could go on, but there are probably a dozen more players out there who i could watch a CGI model mimic and i'd be able to identify them in a second. and i don't want to drag out this thread any longer.
Lol. It's always funny whenever we attempt to link our style of play with a professional. Even if we're being completely sincere with our comparison, the fact that we're comparing ourselves to well-known professionals makes us come off a bit conceited.

It reminds me of my first semester of college when I walked on the baseball team as a pitcher. The first practice, the captain of the team, who was a senior and also a pitcher, asked me to describe my pitching style. I was a bit caught-off guard by the question, but the best and most concise answer I could come up with at the time was saying, "I'm more of a Greg Maddux-type pitcher", since my strengths were not in overpowering stuff but in ball movement, control, and pitching savvy. After my terse response, the captain of the team burst into laughter. Didn't think there was anything funny at the time, but looking back now, if I was the captain of the team and a hot-shot freshman came up to me and compared himself to soon-to-be-Hall-of-Famer Greg Maddux, I would laugh out load too. :p

Anyways, back to the topic. If I had to choose a pro that resembled myself, I would pick Warren Kiamco. Not only do we have similar mechanics, shooting styles, and table demeanor, I'll probably physically look exactly like him in 10 years or so. Hehe. I saw him in person one time, and I could mistake him for my dad. Though, I would easily give up Warren's looks for a tenth of his skills, lol.

EDIT: Also FYI, Jay reported that "my dad" recently beat Shane VB in a race to 30 10-ball in the Philippines, fairly convincingly too.
