Willie, The high run last season was 46. So I'm pretty happy about that score. I'm sure it will get beat by the end of this season, hopefully by me. Sorry I won't be able to play some this weekend, I have to finish up all my jobs. Heading to Chicago for the Midwest Open Wed. We'll play some soon though. Sam
Which players irritate you the most?

Hello to everyone-
Just checked out the site for the first time a few days ago and decided I had to put my two cents worth in regarding irritating players. I've played a lot of pool in the bars in my area, and these are a few of the irritating types that seem to pop up quite a bit:
1. Players who harrasss you non stop to play for money and then contest every shot you make when it becomes apparent you are going to beat them.
2. People who don't know anything about pool but try to give advice. This is usually the same guy who points out that you have an easier shot when you are about to break up a cluster by shooting a slightly more difficult shot.
3. People who use the "poke and hope" method". They shoot every shot very hard and then act like they intended to make the shot if it falls in somewhere 8 rails later. If it misses, they act like they are just playing around and not really putting out any effort.
4. People who take off on bathroom/dancing/getting a drink/talking to friends breaks in the middle of a game.
