White Diamond tip question

I would like to put White Diamonds on two of my cues. One is at 13.5mm the other is at 13mm. Ok, technically speaking, I'd have a local guy do the installation.

Question: are White Diamonds easily cut down to different, size? As in, could I buy a few 13.5mm tips and they'd be easily installed on each cue? Or would I have to buy a 13.5mm and a 13mm tip?

Thanks.

Buy all of them the same size. They need to be larger than your largest shaft. Your cue repair guy needs to glue them on and spin them on a lathe to cut them down to the proper size. Go to e-bay and type White Diamond tips in the search bar. It will send you to Joe Picone's e-bay page. It will cost you $11.99 for three tips. I've known Joe and his wife Tanya for a long time. He is wonderful to deal with. Good luck.

Thanks guys. Yeah I was about to buy them off ebay for 12.99 w/shipping, but just wanted to make sure they can be cut easily, as I never deal with that aspect myself.

I put a white diamond on my break stick and cut it down to size myself with a mushroom grazer bought through Seybert's. It cut really easy, turned out great. It improved my breaks 100%!!

I put a White Diamond tip on my old graphite Cuetec to temporarily use as a break cue until my Fisher J/B arrives.

I used it for the first time today and it's incredible.

I think I sunk at least one ball on every break and scattered the balls all over the table with little effort, and I didn't miscue a single time.

The White Diamond-tipped Cuetec performed much better than the J&J I've been using lately, and probably as well as the Mike Webb breaker and Omen J/B I've used a few times.

Highly recommended tip!

EDIT: BTW, the 13mm tip was slightly larger than the Cuetec ferrule, so I wet-sanded it down to match with 220-grit silicon carbide paper.
