Is White Diamonds in Lafayette having 2 tourneys back to back weekends. The last weekend in Oct. And the first of Nov? I would like to go to one of them.

White Diamond tournament is Oct 26 & 27. The tournament in November is at Emeralds in New Iberia but think you have to have played in the Louisiana tour to qualify to play in it,
Juice is correct as usual. To qualify for the Louisiana Amateur Tour, you have to be an amateur and play in four qualifiers to play in the finals event at Emerald Billiards in New Iberia. Emerald Billiards is worth visiting even if you don't play. It is a premiere facility with a classy owner, Keith Hulin who puts his heart and money into pool.
I think I may go down to New Iberia a day early and take in Avery Island, the birthplace of Tabasco Sauce.
