It was odd having a cue with three shafts in a 1x2 case with its' third shaft in a different case. I've seen a lot of really REALLY nice tooled cases here in the gallery and was thinking about what to do (i.e., tooling, design, pockets, etc...) to keep this cue all together in a 2x4. Maybe a little theme in the design? Well, it got complicated quick... so here's what I ended up going with...

It's simple, nothing fancy, but does the job perfectly (for me). Thanks Joe!

To me, that is the definition of understated elegance. I happen to own a 3x6 Whitten in smooth black leather. I am a big fan of his work. My only complaint is you teased us with a peak at What's In the case. How about a full reveal on ALL of your cues. I'm guessing that is the post that we all should be commenting on. Just Sayin'

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

Mark - check back with me in a couple of years after I send it back for a refinish and adding a few small inlays. :D

Nice case, thanks for sharing!

Did you have to specially request the old style Whitten name tag?

I didn't request a specific name tag style. Just gave the order for a 3x1, black, white stitching, no extras. Just needed to make sure from bumper to joint cap is under 31".

It's too bad that beautiful setup only ever sees the back of a closet. ;)

Mostly sees. Show and tell Wednesday afternoons. :)
