Whitten "lite" case

When you get the new case...I want to hear your description of its constuction compared to original case. Joe Whitten says it is not as strong. ie you cant run a car over it..haha. Well...can you stand on it? Throw it like a gorrilla baggage handler would? Baggage handlers and UPS drivers have special skills to destroy most anything :-) I assume the case will look identical to the original. Why change a perfect design eh?

Because Pool Players B***H about having to hump a Heavy Case all day long as they walk around some event.

If they, the Pool players are like me it would be very easy to drop 10 Pound of CRAP that I would have to carry all day long as they walk around some event.

You didnt understand my meaning. I meant the original case design was perfect in respect to physical layout...ie eye appeal. I agree that reducing the weight is a great idea. Thats why I am considering a new lite case.

They are a great Cases and user friendly. I would hope someday Joe make specers for the Butt Compartment like the Shaft Compartments.
 
One of my butts was a little short. Here is what I did...I used a plastic top off a water bottle. Drill a hole in it so you can use the tool to insert it down the tube. Worked fine for the extra space for that butt. Need extra heigth? Use the stick on spacers supplied with the case.

Quarters like as in, as in 25 Cent Pieces work also. Plus you you never out of Money with them.

Just got this Whitten last month. I wasn't aware of a "lite" version either. Maybe all of the cases being made now are the lite version? I hope. Lol.

The lite cases are an option and cost additional $$$.

Nice case anyways!!!

Joe does have spacers and installation tool that he sends out with the new cases.

Talked to Joe today and my case is shipping tomorrow!!!! :D

Anyone else have pics of these "Lites"? Am I correct to assume that these new line of cases are the same as the originals, aesthetically speaking, of course?

I have a 4x2 lite on order EXACTLY like my current Whitten. I am going to sell my current Whitten 42F Black lizard when my new case arrives. Anyone want to get in the que for it? pm me if interested. New case shoud arrive end of July.
 
Anybody have any experience ordering a whitten with a strap on the side instead of the middle? With the strap in the middle it seems to always want to slide off the shoulder. When I use my Instroke case with the strap on the side the thing fits snugly as hell. Joe said he could do it for an additional charge but he does not recommend it.
