Though I do have 3 other cases on order, I've not heard anything about this new "Lite". Nothing mentioned on their site either. Care to give a few details?

Here's mine. Yes, it has a shoulder strap. Somehow I only snapped pics with it hidden!!

What I understand the Whitten Lites, or the Light Weight Whittens were introduced at the SBE (Valley Forge) in March. I understand the few that were at Valley Forge were sold out.

As the photo below show the 3 x 6 Lites, Weight in at 4#?s, 5.6 OZ Empty with Suit Case Handle, Shoulder Strap, and Pad, and Long & Short Pouch/Pocket.

Also I understand the Cases TUBES are, and the Cases Shell is a Thinner, and Lighter.

Last I understand the Lites are available in 2 x 4, and 3 x 6 configuration at a additional cost of $50.00/Case.

Here it is as promised..my new whitten "lite" case..twotone black and genuine peanut ostrich combo. Case weighs 3lbs. 5oz.
